Charge mix and melting

  • We provide advice on the appropriate charge mix after carefully assessing the chemistry required in casting, grade of casting, and melting unit.

Testing facility

  • Tata Metaliks' state-of-the-art laboratory offers testing facilities to test the following foundry raw materials and consumables
  • Coke and Coal: Ash, Volatile Matter, Carbon, Sulphur and Phosphorous.
  • Casting, Scrap, and Pig Iron: Carbon, Silicon, Manganese, Sulphur, Phosphorous, and Chromium.
  • Limestone: CaO and MgO.
  • Graphite Powder, Fire Bricks, and Ferro Alloys are also tested per customer requirements.
