The first step towards creating ethics awareness among all employees and also the Company's suppliers/ partners/ customers is the appointment of an Ethics Counsellor (EC). Tata Metaliks has appointed an Ethics Counsellor to create awareness and address concerns through communication sessions and various regional meets.
Tata Metaliks has a robust complaint mechanism for employees, suppliers, customers and shareholders. Complaints are placed by means of phone calls, letters, e-mail and even meetings with EC. The EC, after consulting MD or even Chairman and the independent directors, processes these complaints which are then resolved through personal counselling or punitive action towards the concerned employees. The action taken is communicated to the stakeholder raising the concern.
