Jordan

Jordan is one of the most water-scarce countries in the world. The country’s renewable water supply currently meets around two-thirds of the population’s water demands, with groundwater being used twice as quickly as it can be replenished. Population growth and the influx of refugees from regional conflicts put additional strain on an already stressed water supply. Climate change will exacerbate the problem. Jordan’s water security is critical to the country’s long-term political and economic stability.

TML has been consistently supplying Tata Ductura DI Pipes for USAID funded projects in Jordan. Pipes for water and sewerage infrastructure projects in Jordan specifically require special protective coating of alloyed Zinc Aluminum to ensure that the pipeline delivers true on the service life. In June 2022, we had the honor to host engineers and project management team members from Miyahuna Water Company of Jordan who were on a formal visit to inspect 10 KM pipes of various Diameter intended for Khalda project in Jordan. Our intensive quality control during manufacturing and stringent acceptability criteria post production ensured a successful and productive visit for them.
