“Youthled initiatives to improve Education, Health and Digital Literacy”
I was married of at a very early age, due to which I dropped out of school. I participated in various training programs through Tata Metaliks, and came to know about the Learning Centre for drop-out girls under the project “Youthled initiatives to improve Education, Health and Digital Literacy”. I joined that and now I will be able to complete my secondary education through open school. I also learn computer in the Digital Learning Centre, s traditional knowledge should be complemented by technological learnings. I am certain that with Tata Metaliks women like me will fight their destiny and shape our future”.

We are so surprised to see the hidden talents in our children. Various extracurricular programs organized under the project are creating interest among children towards education. Our children are getting quality education for free which is a great help to us. They are learning swiftly and remember the lessons.

“We would like to express our heartful thanks and gratitude for the commendable initiative of Tata Metaliks Limited in setting up a mini-Science lab in Barkola Vivekananda high school. This we hope will immensely benefit the students of this semi – privileged locality and augment their interest in science by initiating them to the joys of learning and exploration”.
