Prafulla Bala Bhattacharya Memorial Challenge Trophy in the cut flower category for Roses and Hem Chandra Nasker Memorial Challenge Trophy in cut flower category. One variety of rose, called the J. F. Kennedy variety was adjudged the ‘Queen of the show’. The show was organized by the Calcutta Flower Growers’ Association at the prestigious Assembly House Gardens, Kolkata.
